Terms of service

Commercial policies - Personal Accounts

The following policies are applied only to personal accounts. The commercial accounts are subject to the conditions of distribution of Las Americas Bookstore.  Please contact us if you need a commercial account.

Conditions of shipment:

We will use the services of Nationex as carrier your order ships within the province of Quebec, Canpar ito the rest of Canada. International shipping will be through Poste Canada (Mail service). We will invoice shipping fees when invoicing the material.


Time of delivery:

The majority of the orders is delivered within three working days, from Monday through Friday.
The delivery service is available in almost all the regions of Quebec and Canada. By submitting your postal code, we will immediately let you know if we can deliver to your address.

Deliveries to post-office boxes are not admitted.

Availability for delivery:

The addressee must be available between 8:00 h and 17:00 h to receive his or her order. A company/signature is required for confirming the reception.

If there is nobody available to receive the package, we recommend that you provide a second delivery address (work address, for example). You can save a list of addresses for delivery in your profile and select the one that you prefer when you order.

After two attempts of delivery, the package will be sent back to Las Américas and the customer willl have to pay the shipping again.

Return:

We do not refund or exchange, however if your products are defective or if we have made a mistake in your order please contact us at 514 844 5994 in Montréal or 1 866 844 5994 (Toll free) to obtain an authorization number before returning any merchandise. An authorization number that will be emitted within a maximum period of 48 hours. We will ask our delivery service to pick up the package at your home or office and we will assume the delivery fees.


The number of authorization is mandatory.

All the products must be sent back in their original packaging with a copy of the invoice and authorization number. Damaged or inclomplete products (bended corners or pages, written sections or stained etc.)  or  products missing CD's will not be admitted.

The refund will be done to the same card with which the purchase was carried out.

The time incurred in replacing the merchandise will depend on its availability in inventory.

Invoicing:
 
The collection to its card will be done solely when the order is validated. No other charge will be applied without your authorization. The taxes are calculated according to the shipping address.
